A 3-day Prayer Retreat in NL
An all-inclusive weekend from friday 3 july to sunday 5 july.
Not just a retreat, but a deep dive into indigenous wisdom, the elements and natural healing practices. At the heart of this weekend is the traditional sweat lodge ceremony, guided by Kato Halcon from Guatamala
The vision for this retreat is to reconnect with our unique expression of self and our true nature, by combining ancient & natural healing practices and ceremonies with our own roots and remembrance.

Delicious food by Dirkje
Her creations are a true journey on itself, the colours, the ingredients, every meal is a celebration and ode to life. We welcome this abundant and amazing food to amplify the retreat experience and really let yourself be cared for in all ways. All meals are included in the retreat and vegetarian based.
With at the heart of the retreat - a traditional Lakota sweatlodge ceremony
This ceremony originates from indigenous people, such as the Lakota (native americans), who used the sweat lodge for cleansing, prayer, and healing.
The heat of the stones, the steam, the scent of the earth and herbs, the power of the songs and the spoken prayers... everything works together as a deep cleansing.
Your body begins to sweat, to release tension, to let go. Here, water becomes a carrier of intention, a cleansing on a physical, emotional and energetic level. And then... the moment you leave the sweatlodge. As if you are being reborn. From the dark, warm womb back into the light.
You feel the fresh air, the sun on your skin, the grass under your feet. Often more clear and lighter. More connected with yourself and with life.
During the ceremony Kato will sing and share prayers for the elements and four wind directions.
This retreat is a deepdive into traditional ceremonial work and your own roots all to reconnect on a deeper level with your true self and nature. To really feel your place on our mother Earth and celebrate the differences of different backgrounds and ancestral lineages.
We will share stories, knowledge, music, healing modalities, ceremonial work and prayers to honor all of life and its beauty, within and around us. The program is build to guide you into deep connection, to learn how to listen and find answers within for your personal healing and remembrance.

Meet the hosts
I'm known as Kato Halcon, rattle maker and keeper of ancestral songs around Sacred Fire. I was born on our beloved Ina Makha (Mother Earth) in 1989 in the Mayan territory, now known as Guatemala. In 2014 I began my journey through Latin America where I had the opportunity to learn about the ancestral knowledge of different native cultures that inhabit North, Central and South America.
Kato felt a calling to study and connect with the knowledge of indigenous tribes. In 2016 he was firstly invited to assist in a Sundance - a native Lakota ceremony which really has opened a path for him in praying and sitting with the sacred fire to study and humbly share about the indigenous ways of living in respect with nature and its teachings.
Kato is a keeper of ancestral songs, creates Native american rattle commissions (a ceremonial instrument), he's a firekeeper and traditionally trained in sweatlodge ceremonies, works with chilcuage root spray (natural healing treatments) and gives Cholq'ij (Mayan Calendar) personal readings and introductions.

My name is Sylvie, owner of Gaia's circle. Born with a curiosity for the deeper meaning of life and our origin. I walk my path as a student of life.
With a lot of gratitude I guide others on their personal healing or remembrance journey, through different holistic therapeutic modalities.
I've worked with energy and heightened senses since I was a child. My own healing path led me to meditation and breathwork. Later I found my path with nature as my teacher, where I work with the healing potency of herbs, funghi and plants. I also love to bring like-hearted people together to celebrate life together through music, dancing, and sharing stories.
My intention is simple: To support you in living in a way that feels real, connected and creates an inner freedom to live from the heart.
This is a mixed retreat, everybody is welcome, men and women. Lets create together!
In times like this we need empowered community, initiators, the visionairs, the ones who create and build something new instead of complain about what is missing.

O N D U T C H S O I L,
D E E P L Y C O N N E C T E D T O
O U R D A I L Y L I F E.
Do you feel the call?
By coming together and working with intention, we not only create an inner movement, but we also establish something in the earth itself. For your personal prayers, for your life here and for the generations before and after us. This makes the work more directly connected to your existence in the here and now. Where your personal process becomes part of something greater. With this retreat, we create a space for cleansing, remembrance, and reconnection. A place where you may let go of old layers. Where you can reconnect or deepen into your natural state of being.
